Ora Nui Farms is a business based in the Woodland hills of Waihi. Jess & Kenney Crockett started Ora Nui Farms in 2023 as Local, Spray-Free Market Gardeners with a passion for Whanau, Health, and Good Food. Ora Nui means 'Great Life' or 'Great Health,' which is what brought the focus of the business toward Microgreens in 2024. For many year, Jess would intentionally consume an entire bag of Spinach or Salad per day just to keep her health goals in check. After one particular summer, she found Microgreens, and realised how they were jam packed with nutritional goodness. That is how the Ora Nui Farms Spray-Free Microgreens product range was born.

Jess is the founder of Ora Nui Farms who whakapapas to: Ngati Maniapoto, Ngati Tu Wharetoa (Taupo), Ngati Haua (Taumarunui), and Ngapuhi. She also volunteers as a kapahaka kaiako (teacher), loves to be barefoot in the garden, and runs halfs/marathons for fun.​ Kenney came on board as Ora Nui Farms Chief Grower when Jess got the CRAZY FUN idea to grow Spray-Free Microgreens. Kenney is a kiwi-born farmer who is a lover of the Aotearoa Whenua, hunting, and rugby. Just your classic kiwi bloke. Kenney & Jess have 3 busy boys who love rugby and constantly need fuelling up on farm-grown food; and yes, they love Microgreens too!

The Ora Nui Whanau now spans throughout the entire Western Bay of Plenty/Tauranga region, delivering Spray-Free Microgreens to Fresh Choice, Foodstuffs stores, Cafes, and Restaurants. They are a growing business who have a passion for Aotearoa NZ to live a Great Life - To Live Ora Nui.
